Ninh Kieu lies in the right side of Hau Giang River at the T-junction of Hau River and Can Tho River. It is also near the center of Can Tho City and one of the most attractive places for tourists. On rustic boats, people carry a lot of agricultural produces, marine products, the characteristic products of the Mekong River delta to anywhere. Ninh Kieu is the pride of Can Tho people. This is a large garden more than 2,2ha long with 20 kinds of fruits, flowers and a variety of birds and animals such as turtles, snakes, crabs, shrimps, etc.
Visitors can walk in the garden, breath the cool fresh air and pick fruit by hand to enjoy without worrying about food safety issues. If they want to stay overnight, there is a pretty small resort located under the shadow of trees, with affordable price.
Guests can also visit Ba Lang tourist attraction 9km faraway Can Tho City (on Highway 1A in the direction of Soc Trang, across Cai Rang bridge) which is 4,2ha wide. It has a lotus lake, 2 pools for adults and children, an outdoor theater, a circus and a mini hotel. The garden here is also an ideal destination for traveling to Can Tho, which can make the trip to Mekong river region more diverse.


Bang Lang Stork Garden locates in Thoi Binh Hamlet, Thoi Thuan Commune, Thot Not District, Can Tho City. To enter the garden, visitors must go by boat. If they travel in the spring, they can watch blooming Bang Lang flowers making 2 sides of the river ingraining in violet. From a distance, visitors can glimpse the vast Stork Garden. They will see a large garden with a variety of storks in the different categories. To admire all the beautiful sceneries here, visitors can come early in the morning to see the flocks of stork foraging and returning at 5pm.

It is a house with 5 sectors and 2 roofs on Bui Huu Nghia Street, Binh Thuy Ward, Binh Thuy District, Can Tho City. This house which was built in 1870 in French architecture belongs to Duong families. The 150-year-old house is still unchanged and integrated with the area of 6.000m2. The front yard has bonsais and flowers. The right side is an orchid garden while the left corner is Kim Lang Tru Mexican cactus of about 8 meters high with the age of about 40 years. Behind the house is an orchard. Large yard is made of brick. The entrance is constructed with four bow stairs. The house is very large with 6 rows of 24 black ironwood pillars about 30cm in diameter. The connectivity between systems columns and beams are brown woods which are carved sophisticatedly. To prevent termites and keep the house cool, the owner had the workers to spread a layer of salt 10cm thick under the floor. The airy door and window system make the house cool even in the hot weather. This is a valuable architecture despite experiencing two wars especially the abuse of time. Duong Families house is lucky to survive until these days and be cared and treated by generations. 


Nam Nha Pagoda not only has religious values but is also a place to nurture strength against foreign invasion of the patriotic elites of the Dong Du movement (1907-1940).  Nguyen Giac Nguyen took responsible for building this Pagoda in 1895. It follows Minh Su Sect so that it is also called Minh Su Pagoda.
Opposite the pagoda is the majestic Long Tuyen Court. In front of it is Binh Thuy River with both sides of ancient giant trees. Con Son is on the east side and considered as the pearl of Long Tuyen. Binh Thuy is regarded as a dragon tongue lying in the middle of the Hau river flow.
External side is the old brick entrance where is carved three Chinese characters "Nam Nha Duong". The courtyard is surrounded by a large garden that stretches out into the riverbank. There are many kinds of ancient trees, precious trees and ornamental trees which are cut elaborately.


Can Tho Museum is a large construction with an area of 3,000m2. It is located in the Hoa Binh Boulevard, Tan An Ward, Ninh Kieu District. It exhibits objects of country, Can Tho people and Mekong Delta region over time. It is a place to keep values of the culture of the Kinh, Hoa, Khmer in the process of building and defending the country.
Can Tho Museum was established in 1976. Through many changes, until 1992 it is officially named as Can Tho Museum. This is also the tourist attraction that you should visit in Can Tho.

Visitors have to move just 1km westward to the Hau River to reach Tay Do night market which is located in the area of Can Tho international Expo. This is a major commercial center of the Mekong Delta. Items here have features of the river region such as flowers, fruits and vegetables. There is one thing that will make visitors surprised. That is the organization and order of the market. Tay Do night market has an enormous number of good but is not cluttered like other markets.
